Client: Glatt Air Techniques in Ramsey, NJ.

Challenge: A member of the world-wide Glatt group, which specializes in integrated-process technology, the company aimed to greatly reduce energy usage in its heat recovery functions through an energy-efficient means.

Solution: Haglid Engineering helped the company meet its goal by incorporating two BPE-MIR-XE-SC-2000 units. Indeed, this solution did reduce energy consumption more efficiently. As a result of their efforts to become more energy sustainable, Glatt Air Techniques was presented with an $88,000 incentive check by NJ Board of Public Utilities Commissioner Elizabeth Randall. By utilizing the two BPE units and an Encelium Building Automation System, the company also reduced its estimated annual utility bill by nearly $19,000.
